Dutchie Employee Sales Reports: Performance, Tips, and Attribution
Dutchie POS separates the at-a-glance store dashboard, employee performance views, and the Closing Report. They answer related but different questions. Dutchie’s employee reporting guide also notes that tips do not appear in the Employee Performance dashboard.
Overview and performance
Reports > Overview requires the View Dashboard permission. It includes daily and monthly snapshots plus a Budtenders tab. Dutchie describes this view as a dashboard; it does not support multi-location reporting or export.
Reports > Employee > Performance requires View Employee Reports. The Budtender Leaderboard can rank staff by metrics including net average order value, total orders, units per order, gross sales, net sales, discounted amount, and returned amount. Dutchie says the page supports date ranges, multi-location selection, and export.
Employee reports
The Employee Reports tab contains exportable static reports in the Employee category. Use these when the question needs a tabular export instead of the dashboard’s ranking or charts. Confirm that the account has the report permission before troubleshooting a missing menu.
Closing report
The Closing Report requires View Closing Report. It includes income, payment, and category summaries, with detail for registers, cash deposits, payment type changes, discounted transactions, voids, refunds, cancellations, and backdated transactions. Dutchie lists tips in related closing-report data rather than in the employee performance dashboard.
Interpret attribution
Dutchie says sales are attributed to the budtender who processed the transaction at the register. If the employee report does not match another operational report, check the transaction’s register attribution and the date range before comparing totals. Tip data needs its own report source; it is not a missing column to infer from the employee leaderboard.
